R series PDP-8 board information and R205 Dual Flip Flop

Current size small. Select new size for picture Small ( 36K) Medium ( 74K) Large (273K)

This board is a dual flip flop where each flip flop stores 1 bit of information. This is somewhat similar to the TTL 7473 dual J-K flip flop. It has a common set input and a gated set and reset. Without additional gating you can perform the following operations.

Up counter
Shift register
Ring counter
Down counter

This board cost $29 in 1968.
