* LAP6 format tapes * These LINC tapes were origionally from Gerald C. Johns and loaned by Maury Pepper. * These are tapes for the original LINC computer and variants. * Music instructions and 173 MB of music recordings, see Readme.txt in zip * * Music-lap6.4 bad blocks difficult to investigate cause of read errors since * LAP6 doesn't match between tapes. * Lap6-mymasterNo file in those blocks. The blocks at the beginning of the tape * seems to be fixed contents after marking. The checksums are all the same * though on blocks 0 & 4 a few words differ. It appears that * a transition is missing from both data bit 1 redundant tracks for the word I looked at. * Overlayed block 3 and 4 with block 4 in red where you can see the missing flux * transition. Seems odd the tape would have lost the transition in storage. Also * seems odd that a master tape wouldn't have been rewritten if it was bad. 12may81-master.linc Not sure what the programs do. picture 1 picture 2 1969-lap6-tv-chann-2.linc Floating point programs.
