BAR GRAPH PROGRAM - Description of Stock Select Screen (1 of 3)

The stock select screen can display the names of up to 13 stocks at one time.
On the left side of the stock select screen there will be a pointer that looks
like this:  ->  A stock is selected when the pointer is on the same line as
the name of that stock.  The pointer can be moved through the list of stocks
by means of the cursor keys on the right side of the keyboard as described be-
low.  If you press the wrong key, an error message will flash on the bottom of
the screen until you press another correct key.

Down-Arrow: moves the pointer down one line.  If necessary, the display will
      scroll towards the end of the list.

Up-Arrow: moves the pointer up one line.  If necessary, the display will
      scroll towards the beginning of the list.

Alt-Dn: moves the display 10 lines down towards the end of the list.  There
      is an overlap of 3 lines.  The pointer is placed on the bottom line.

Alt-Up: moves the display 10 lines up towards the beginning of the list.
      There is an overlap of 3 lines.  The pointer is placed on the top line.

Alt-Line Feed: moves the display to the end of the list and places the pointer
      on the last line of the list.

Home: moves the display to the beginning of the list and places the pointer
      on the first line of the list.

Typing one of the following letter keys will invoke the corresponding function:

G  = Draw a bar GRAPH for the selected stock.  The program assumes you have a
     color graphics adapter installed.  Either a monochrome or color video
     display may be used.

D  = DISPLAY volume and price data for the selected stock.  The display screen
     also allows you to temporarily change moving average periods.

E  = ENTER volume and prices for any stock.  This will take you to the data
     entry program and another stock select screen.

A  = ADD or delete any stock, or make changes to a stock name, symbol, ex-
     change, dividend, earnings or price goals.  This will take you to the
     add/delete program and another stock select screen.

H  = HELP.  Displays the explanatory information you are looking at now.

Q  = QUIT this program and exit to DOS, so you can run a different program
     system, make a backup copy of a disk, etc.
