PDP-8 TU56 DECtape Drive H725 power supply damaged wires 1
This shows the damage to the wires which connected to the brown power resistor. I noticed the wires where they touched the resistor were discolored and when I moved them the insulation broke off. You can also see the 1/4 quick disconnect (behind green wire) red plastic has turned black from the heat. These power resistors get very hot when running at rated current so should not have wires running close to them.
