This is the left side view of the DF32 disk drive. The drive motor (1/10 HP, 1800 RPM, 2.2 amp) is hanging below the black disk case. The ribbon cable leading from the card near the power connector used to be covered in foam but it deteriorated so I had to remove it. This disk picture (180K) shows the original cable covering. The black bars on the side are the chassis slides for holding it in the rack but allowing it to be slid out a couple feet for maintenance but still held into the rack.
